General Information
- According to the Ordinance №255 approved by the government of Georgia, citizens of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan may enter and stay in Georgia without a visa for 1 (one) full year.
- According to the Ordinance №255 approved by the government of Georgia, citizens of the Republic of Lebanon may enter and stay in Georgia without a visa for 1 (one) full year.
- Citizens of The Republic of Iraq must obtain an ordinary visa before entering the territory of Georgia.
- If you have a valid visa or residency (a sticker on the passport, not e-visa paper) in one of the countries listed in the link below, you can travel directly to Georgia without applying for a visa. - NOTE: In order to visit Georgia for study purposes, citizens of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Iraq, and the Republic of Lebanon need to obtain a Study Visa.
- NOTE: The Embassy does not handle the e-visa process.

- The visa fee is 20 USD. The visa fees ($20) twenty US Dollars should be deposited in the Embassy's consular account at Arab Bank in Jordan – account number: 0118 276 758 9 511.
- Applicants must upload all required documents and schedule an appointment at the Embassy when submitting their visa application. No Online interviews are available for the visa application process. DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED BY POST OR EMAIL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
- If the system is not displaying available slots for appointments, it means that all slots have been booked. Applicants must check the calendar frequently and try to submit their visa application when a free slot becomes available.
- Please keep the login details provided at the end of the submission process to manage your visa application in the future.
- Upon appearing at the Embassy of Georgia on the appointed date, the applicant is required to submit the originals of all documents for the visa application.
- The processing time for an ordinary visa is at least 10 days; for an immigration visa, it is at least 30 days.
- if the visa application is approved, the applicant will be notified and must then present their passport at the Embassy for the visa sticker.
- In case of a positive decision, a study visa shall be issued with the right of multiple entries and a 90-calendar day validity. Study visa holders shall apply for a residence permit to the LEPL Public Service Hall/LEPL Public Service Development Agency no later than 45 days before their lawful stay in Georgia expires.
- Each applicant must submit their visa application separately, including family members traveling together.
Note: Travel health and accident insurance is mandatory for all foreign citizens. The insurance must cover the full period of your stay in Georgia. It can be issued by either a Georgian or a foreign insurance company. The insured amount must be at least 30,000 GEL. In the case of Jordan, insurance can only be obtained from companies that are licensed by the Central Bank of Jordan.

Filling out the online application:
- Enter the website: https://www.geoconsul.gov.ge/en;
- Click on “E-APPLICATION REGISTRATION (VISIT PLANNING)”
- Click on “CREATE PERSONAL SPACE”
- Enter your Personal Information >> CONFIRM.
- Indicate your citizenship.
- CHOOSE THE GEORGIAN CONSULAR OFFICE - Embassy of Georgia to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. >> NEXT
- Choose the RELEVANT SERVICE – VISA OF GEORGIA;
- If you are an ordinary passport holder – Choose IMMIGRATION, ORDINARY AND TRANSIT VISAS.
- Choose VISIT TO THE CONSULATE – Choose date of appointment, Choose time.
- Upload a recent biometric photograph with a white background and clear facial features (digital photo 472x610 pixels in dimension; scanned photo – 4x5.16cm in size, scanned at 300 DPI resolution). The face should cover 80% of the picture. Upload the photo in the photo section at the beginning of the application.
- Please enter all information very carefully and in a detailed manner.
- Upload all documents in the exact order given below (the Embassy may request additional information/document).
NOTE: At the end of the application, a PDF version of the application will be sent to the email address you provided in the application. Print and sign on the page and make sure to upload this document too.
Kindly make sure to upload each document separately and to name each document properly, for example; passport, visa fees, hotel reservation, etc.
A confirmation of your appointment will be sent to you along with a User Name and Password for your application, enabling you to make changes and upload other documents if needed. However, the online application will only be accessible for three days. For any future changes, you will need to fill out a new application.
Please provide accurate dates for arrival and departure from Georgia as the visa will cover those dates exactly.
Upon appearing at the Embassy of Georgia on the appointed date, the applicant is required to submit the originals of all documents for the visa application.
FOR C1 (ORDINARY SHORT TERM) VISA:
- Scanned copy of passport - issued within the last 10 years. The validity period of the travel document shall exceed the validity period of the visa by at least three months; it shall not be damaged and shall not contain unofficial records;
- Biometric Photo - The Embassy does not accept photos in a material form;
- Letter of accommodation (hotel reservation or a letter from a Georgian citizen providing accommodation, duly verified by a notary).
- Round flight ticket reservation;
- Travel health and accident insurance for the period of your stay in Georgia. The insurance policy may be issued by either a Georgian or a foreign insurance company, and the insured amount must be no less than 30,000 GEL.
- Bank reference for the past 6 months.
- The bank receipt that shows the deposit of the visa fees.
- Two signed application forms (to be downloaded, signed, scanned, and uploaded to the program).
FOR D3 (STUDY) IMMIGRATION VISA:
- Scanned copy of passport - issued within the last 10 years. The validity period of the travel document shall exceed the validity period of the visa by at least three months; it shall not be damaged and shall not contain unofficial records;
- Biometric Photo - The Embassy does not accept photos in a material form;
- Letter of accommodation (statement of University, hotel booking, or rent agreement indicating an amount of rent and conditions together with the proof of ownership from the Registry of Georgia, or a written notarized consent of owner indicating an amount of rent and conditions together with the proof of ownership from the Registry of Georgia);
- Flight ticket reservation;
- Travel health and accident insurance for the period of your stay in Georgia.
- Proof of financial funds: A document confirming that applicant will cover from own funds all the expenses; A notarized affidavit of sponsorship with the sponsor’s passport copy, a bank statement from the sponsor covering the last 6 months. A document confirming receipt of a grant or study financing. A document confirming the existence of a scholarship;
- If application is made by a representative, document evidencing such representative powers must be presented. For minors (under 18), notarized written consent of parents (with passport copies and birth certificate) must be presented.
- The Order issued by the Ministry of Education and Youth of Georgia allowing to study in Georgia without attending the National Exams;
- The Order/Acceptance letter confirming the admission to an authorized educational institution of Georgia and proof of payment of the compulsory part of the tuition fee issued by University
- Document confirming the existence of the foreign language education program in the authorized educational institution in which applicant has been enrolled;
- Proof of legal residency in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan or other accredited countries is required for third-country nationals
- The bank receipt that shows the deposit of the visa fees.
- Two signed application forms (to be downloaded, signed, scanned, and uploaded to the program).
FOR D4 (Family Reunification) IMMIGRATION VISA:
- Scanned copy of passport - issued within the last 10 years. The validity period of the travel document shall exceed the validity period of the visa by at least three months; it shall not be damaged and shall not contain unofficial records;
- Biometric Photo - The Embassy does not accept photos in a material form;
- Letter of accommodation (hotel reservation or a letter from a Georgian citizen providing accommodation, duly verified by a notary).
- Flight ticket reservation;
- Travel health and accident insurance for the period of your stay in Georgia.
- A document confirming that a person already legally staying in Georgia (on the grounds of residence permit or Immigration visa) is a family member of an applicant (a marriage certificate, children’s birth certificate, etc.)
- Bank reference for the past 6 months.
- The bank receipt that shows the deposit of the visa fees. Family members of Georgian citizens are exempt from this requirement.
- Two signed application forms (to be downloaded, signed, scanned, and uploaded to the program).
FOR D1 (WORKING) IMMIGRATION VISA:
- Scanned copy of passport - issued within the last 10 years. The validity period of the travel document shall exceed the validity period of the visa by at least three months; it shall not be damaged and shall not contain unofficial records;
- Biometric Photo - The Embassy does not accept photos in a material form;
- Letter of accommodation (hotel reservation or a letter from a Georgian citizen providing accommodation, duly verified by a notary).
- Proof of the purpose of traveling to Georgia must include an employment contract that details the duration of employment, salary, position, and all other necessary information. The signatures of the parties on the contract must be notarized. Alternatively, an extract from the public registry demonstrating that the foreign national is a founder/co-founder or an authorized representative of a registered entrepreneurial (commercial) legal entity in Georgia must be provided;
- Certificate from the Revenue Service of Georgia (for the last 6 months) if an employer is a legal/ entrepreneurial entity registered in Georgia or any other proof of income or turnover (e.g. bank statement)
- Certificate from the Public Registry of Georgia if an employer is registered in Georgia;
- Resume, proof of qualification, reference letters;
- Unique code issued by the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia in accordance with the Law on Labor Migration;
- Flight ticket reservation;
- Travel health and accident insurance for the period of your stay in Georgia.
- Bank reference for the past 6 months.
- The bank receipt that shows the deposit of the visa fees.
- Two signed application forms (to be downloaded, signed, scanned, and uploaded to the program).
FOR D5 (Ownership) IMMIGRATION VISA:
- Scanned copy of passport - issued within the last 10 years. The validity period of the travel document shall exceed the validity period of the visa by at least three months; it shall not be damaged and shall not contain unofficial records;
- Biometric Photo - The Embassy does not accept photos in a material form;
- Letter of accommodation (hotel reservation or a letter from a Georgian citizen providing accommodation, duly verified by a notary).
- Flight ticket reservation;
- Travel health and accident insurance for the period of your stay in Georgia.
- Proof of ownership of property/real estate in Georgia;
- Document confirming the market value of the property/real estate (the market value of the property/real estate is assessed by a certified appraiser operating under a legal entity of public law - national accreditation body accredited by the accreditation center. The real estate must have a value that exceeds the equivalent of 150,000 US dollars in GEL)
- The bank receipt that shows the deposit of the visa fees.
