Requirements for Certification of document issuance by the administrative bodies of Georgia
The Embassy of Georgia to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan outlines the following requirements for the Certification of Document Issuance by the Administrative Bodies of Georgia:
1. Service Scope & Conditions
- The Embassy of Georgia to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan provides the service of Certification of Document Issuance by the Administrative Bodies of Georgia.
- The document must be about a Georgian citizen, and only a Georgia citizen can apply for this service.
- Only original documents are eligible for certification. The Embassy does not certify copies of documents.
- The document must have been issued by an administrative body of Georgia.
2. Required Certification Steps
- For documents issued by the administrative bodies of Georgia, the document must first be certified by a Public Service Hall in Georgia. During this process, you must also request to have it authenticated with the seal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
- Thereafter, the document must be certified by the Embassy of Georgia to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
3. Translation Requirements
- Documents issued by the administrative bodies of Georgia are issued in the Georgian language. If needed, the document may be translated and notarized into English.
- Please note that the notarized translation must undergo the same certification procedures as the original document and must bear the seals of both the Public Service Hall and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
4. Fees
- Consular fee for certification is twenty-five US dollars (USD 25) per document and must be deposited into the Embassy's consular account at Arab Bank in Jordan. The account number is: 0118 276 758 9 511. Submitting the original payment receipt is mandatory.
5. Required Documents for Embassy Visit
The applicant must submit the following documents in person at the Embassy:
- Georgian valid passport,
- The original document for certification,
- The original payment receipt.
6. Processing Time & Collection
- The certification process may take up to 10 days from the date the original document and required printed copies are received at the Embassy of Georgia in Jordan.
- Once the document has been certified, the applicant will receive a phone call or email notification from the Embassy to arrange collection.
The Embassy reserves the right to refuse certification of any document that does not comply with the above-mentioned requirements.

To apply for consular services at the Embassy of Georgia to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, please follow the instructions below:
1. Access the Official Website
2. Register for E-Application
- Click on “E-APPLICATION REGISTRATION (VISIT PLANNING)”.
3. Create a Personal Space
- Select “CREATE PERSONAL SPACE”.
4. Enter Personal Information
- Provide your personal details accurately and click CONFIRM.
5. Indicate Citizenship
- Specify your citizenship from the available options – Select a Citizen of Georgia
- Note: Only citizens of Georgia may submit this application.
6. Select the Consular Office
- Choose: Embassy of Georgia to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and click NEXT.
7. Choose the Relevant Service
- Select “Document Translation / Request / Confirmation of Issuance” from the list of available services.
- Then select “Certify of document issuance by the administrative bodies of Georgia”.
8. Schedule Your Visit
- Under VISIT TO THE CONSULATE, choose the preferred date and time for your appointment.
NOTE: The applicant's appearance at the appointment time is mandatory at the Embassy. DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED BY POST OR EMAIL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
