Chronology of Diplomatic Relations
Diplomatic relations between Georgia and the Lebanese Republic were established on April 1, 1993.
Fields of Cooperation
Cooperation between Georgia and the Lebanese Republic has been developing in both bilateral and multilateral formats. Georgian Embassy established in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in 2004 conducts diplomatic coverage of the Lebanese Republic.
There is a practice of bilateral political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Georgia and Lebanon. At the same time, during recent years, cooperation between the two countries has been growing in the fields of economy and tourism.
